We also would appreciate you filling out the RSVP form ASAP

so we can finalise our Vendors.

What to Expect at our Wedding

Friday 29th November

3pm- Onsite Check-in opens

Evening- Country-Themed Karaoke (Catered). Wear your best jeans/overalls/cowboy hat for karaoke that won’t be limited to country music.

Saturday 30th November- Wedding Day

Morning-Free Time (Breakfast food provided, lunch not catered)

Afternoon- Wedding ceremony and

cocktail hour (catered)

Evening- PARTY TIIIIIIME (catered)

Sunday 1st December

Morning- BBQ Recovery Brekky (catered)

10:30 am- Check out

Housekeeping

Our goal is to keep our special weekend as intimate as possible, so we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Because of this, please don’t bring any extra people or furry friends with you.

Please see the Accomodation section for your options. If you are staying onsite, we will be assigning rooms to you.

We also will have an unplugged ceremony. Our lovely photographers Fred and Hannah will capture our ceremony, so you can sit back, relax, and take part as guests.

What to Wear

In our semi-formal garden style wedding, we would love to see you dress up in your favourite bright patterns, shapes and colours. Our decorations will have the same colour scheme as this website, so match or clash as much as you would like.

Please Avoid:

-Glitter, gold and navy so the brides and bridal parties can stand out

-Black, AKA anti-colour.

-Jeans- get it out of your system at the karaoke night

Gifts

Honeymoon Fund

Instead of physical gifts, if you choose to give us a gift we would appreciate a donation to our honeymoon fund- we’re going to Scotland!

We’ll make sure that it goes towards an experience (not flights) so we can share what you helped us be able to do.

Accommodation options

Staying onsite

Ratho Farm has enough accommodation for everyone invited. All rooms are heated and have basic amenities such as an ensuite, hairdryer, towels and toiletries, barfridge, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Rooms will be assigned by us.

One of the buildings has a kitchen to prepare food that all guests will be welcome to use to make breakfast and lunch on the 30th.

Camping Onsite

Camping is also available onsite. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you intend to camp.

Staying in Bothwell

There is accommodation available in Bothwell (1km away) if you do not wish to stay onsite at Ratho Farm. Ask us (Rhi and Georgia) for more information if you’d like to pursue this, as we can get local information from the venue.

about bothwell

Bothwell is located in the central highlands of Tasmania, an hour drive from Hobart, or 2 hours from Launceston. For those who have not gone this way before, if you take the route that uses Highland Lakes Road (A5) from Hobart or Launceston, you will not encounter any dirt roads except for Ratho Farm’s long dirt driveway.

For questions about hire cars or general travel in Tasmania, we recommend joining the Lap of Tasmania - Road trip advice and inspiration Facebook page and asking there for up-to-date information.

Bothwell has a solid pub, and other (limited) shops and services. make sure you are fuelled up and buy your supplies in Hobart if you want to save money.
